By creating an account or using My School Agent (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service, including users who access it through Amazon Alexa or other connected devices.

My School Agent is a family organisation tool that helps parents manage school communications. The Service extracts dates, events, and action items from forwarded school emails, organises them into a family calendar, and delivers daily briefings. The Service may also be accessed through voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa. We use AI to process emails and generate briefings. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. You should always verify important dates and details with your school directly.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with anyone outside your household. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: managing your family's school-related information. You must not use the Service to store or process sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for school organisation. You are responsible for the content of any emails you forward to the Service. Community features (shared timetables, school events) must be used honestly and in good faith.

You must not: attempt to access other users' data or accounts; use the Service to send spam, harassing, or harmful content; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service; use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service; impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a school; use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by My School Agent. You retain ownership of any content you provide (such as forwarded emails and event details). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service to you. Community-contributed data (timetables, term dates) is shared for the benefit of all parents at a school.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that AI-processed information will be error-free. We are not liable for any missed events, incorrect dates, or other issues arising from reliance on AI-processed content. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the Service in a way that could harm other users. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon account deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before termination.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
